from dusk to dawn (2024)
‘from dawn to dusk is inspired by memories of my childhood in Richmond going on walks along the West Dyke trail. The artwork features one of the animals I most associate with the City of Richmond – the Pacific Great Blue Heron, occasionally spotted on the shores of the river. Using these early experiences as reference, the work merges memories of exploring the natural environment with recollections of encountering local wildlife throughout my years growing up in Richmond.part of the City of Richmond Traffic Cabinet public art series
